Muni Gou Scenic Spot
Because Songpan is close to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, Muni Gou has been overlooked by many people. In fact, in my mind, it has always been a treasure ~ the scenery is not inferior to Jiuzhai Huanglong ~
Those who have been there say it is a scaled-down version of Jiuzhaigou, with mountains, lakes, forests, and seas. The most important thing is that there are still very few tourists. Walking through it, it's as if the whole forest is contracted to you.
Muni Gou scenic area consists of Erdaohai and Zaga waterfall. Erdaohai is the legendary small nine villages. Climbing up the wooden trestle, a series of small seas come into view one by one!
The lake produces exotic flowers, from green to blue, crystal clear, super nice. Standing by the lake, it's all in the picture~
Zaga Falls is 93.2 meters high and 35 meters wide. It is a waterfall that calcifies both solid and liquid, very shocking and spectacular.
The waterfalls over 100 meters are like the Milky Way hanging in the nine heavens, striking your vision, while a series of mountain lakes are like silver mirrors placed in the mortal world by Buddha, refracting a different kind of beauty and purity.
Here, there is a waterfall that is all turquoise blue, emerald green and magnificent. In autumn, the layers of forests and the autumn colors of mountains and lakes complement each other beautifully.
Muni Hou Monastery
Muni Gou also has a 300-year-old Tibetan Buddhist temple, Muni Hou Monastery (also known as Zhari Monastery).
This area is densely forested and rich in vegetation, and the Muni Hous backs up to the Zaga Waterfall. The surroundings of the temple are beautiful and serene. After visiting the temple, you can continue to visit Zaga Falls and Erdaohai.
The historic temple community is situated between lawns. The occasional sound of chanting and the occasional passing monks add a touch of peace and tranquility to the land.
The main hall is full of artifacts to view, and walking through it is like stepping back in time. (The main hall is not allowed to take pictures ~)
There are many Tibetan communities near the temple, scattered in the mountains, there are ethnic characteristics of the building look especially smooth.

Songzhou Ancient City
Songpan Ancient City, anciently known as Songzhou, was built in the Ming Dynasty during the Hongwu period. Since ancient times, it has not only been a military fortress in Northwest Sichuan, but also an important post for Tibetans, Qiangs, Hui and Han Chinese, and has a long history of "tea-horse market".
The evening is the busiest time in the whole town. The square of the ancient town is full of Tibetans dancing potshuang, young people playing ball games, old people walking with their children, and a group of people organizing fitness activities. The whole square is filled with all kinds of life, a feeling of tranquility and happiness.
As night fell, I walked from the antique street to the city wall, and inadvertently felt as if I had come to a capital city of the Tang Dynasty. And, the night view here is so beautiful that you can't help but stop and linger.

Chuanzhuosi
